About Casa Meraki School

Casa Meraki Montessori Spanish Immersion

Casa Meraki School is a Spanish immersion program led by Claudia Hoyos, an educator with over 20 years of experience and a Master’s in Child Psychology. The school blends Montessori philosophy with a focus on child-led exploration across purposefully designed environments: the serene Orugas room for young infants, motor-skill focused Abejas for older infants, and the independence-boosting Aguilas classroom for older children. The facility is uniquely defined by its expansive, shaded outdoor play area and natural light-filled indoor spaces. The program prioritizes social-emotional growth, guiding children through conflict resolution and celebrating developmental milestones in a supportive, communal atmosphere. Parents receive frequent photo and video updates, ensuring a high level of connectivity between home and school life.

How thankful we are to have found a place that truly loves and cares for our sweet girl. The process of finding the right daycare can be daunting, but knowing that when I drop her off in the morning, she is taken care of and surrounded by love makes all the difference. The pictures and videos sent throughout the day are much appreciated. It gives me peace of mind and joy to see her happy and engaged. So glad we found Casa Meraki!

We love Claudia and Casa Meraki. Highly recommend. She is very caring and attentive with the kids and you can tell she loves what she does. We also get pictures and videos of our kids frequently throughout the day, we look forward to them and it’s really great seeing them have a good time. Additionally my oldest is very attached and doesn’t like me to drop her off. Claudia makes sure to send me a picture 5 minutes later to show she’s calmed down and ease my worries. Not sure what the communication issues described in other reviews is. They have been overly communicative and very flexible. Claudia also put on a thanksgiving event for all the families to meet and make the place feel like a supportive group.

Ms. Claudia and Ms. Maribel are the most kind, passionate and joyful teachers I’ve ever met - you can immediately tell they create a space where children are supported, inspired and encouraged to flourish in every way. The facility itself is beautiful: spacious, thoughtfully designed, very well equipped and full of natural light. The playground is also outstanding, offering plenty of room for play and discovery. Highly highly recommend!

We love Casa Meraki! As a new mom I was very anxious to send my baby to daycare but Claudia and her staff have made that transition easier than I expected it to be. It puts my mind at ease to know he is so well cared for every day. We also appreciate the Montessori and Spanish immersion focus, as well as all of the time spent outside!

Casa Meraki has been an open and inviting experience. Claudia has been a wonderful and patient teacher to our son, and is creating new ways to challenge him daily. Change can be hard and this child care center underwent a mgt change and challenges earlier this year. Overall, we are very happy with the level of attention, academics and care Casa Meraki has provided to our son and our neighbors who attend as well. It continues to be a loving and now a Spanish immersion learning environment, would certainly recommend.
