About Guidepost Montessori at Round Rock
Guidepost Montessori At Round Rock
Guidepost Montessori at Round Rock provides a structured developmental journey across its Nido (infant), Toddler, and Children’s House programs. Under the leadership of Ms. Bo, who brings a background in neuroscience and elementary education, the campus focuses on 'prepared environments' where children explore literacy, math, and practical life skills at their own pace. The program is designed to foster deep concentration and independence, often leading to advanced outcomes such as children reading by age four. The school is highly regarded for its 'zen-like' atmosphere and exceptional cleanliness. Dedicated educators like Ms. Janet and Ms. Ana Maria are frequently cited by parents for their life-changing impact, particularly during milestones like toilet learning. While the facility offers a high-quality educational foundation with extended-day support, parents should note recent corporate-level financial news and ongoing staff turnover as points for inquiry during a tour.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
If your child is just beginning school and you value emotional support, safety, and compassionate care during the adjustment period, this may not be the right place for your family. I personally witnessed my child—less than two years old and unable to communicate—hit her head on concrete during a tantrum while the teacher did not intervene, offer comfort, or even acknowledge the situation. Instead, I was met with blame and told that I had chosen the “wrong” attendance days. As a parent, this experience was deeply distressing. I expected that a Montessori school, particularly one with such high tuition, would provide patience, reassurance, and emotional care for young children and understanding for parents during this vulnerable transition. A child of this age deserves to be comforted, held, and made to feel safe. What we experienced reflected a lack of compassion and attentiveness that I did not expect. I am profoundly disappointed by the care we received.
Guidepost Montessori at Round Rock Campus is simply the best place our family has ever been for our kids. Our son is in Nido, and our oldest daughter is in the Children’s House. I can’t say enough about how amazing the teachers are and their incredible job helping the children reach their milestones with curiosity and the love every child needs. The Head of School, Mr. Tim, along with Ms. Boo, makes this place a truly wonderful experience for both families and students. This school genuinely cares for their employees and families as the most valuable part of the community. You can easily feel the positive and welcoming atmosphere the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for a great place for your kids, this is the one!
We feel so lucky to have found this daycare for our daughter. She attended from April to the end of September (only cut short due to relocating to another state), and it was truly a special experience for our entire family. From the very beginning, we noticed how zen-like the environment was; calm, joyful, and full of structure in the best possible way. Unlike many daycares that can feel chaotic or overstimulating, this school radiated a sense of peace and purpose. The children were happy, engaged, and truly thriving. Our daughter blossomed during her time there. She became incredibly independent, learned real-life skills, and found comfort in the school’s predictable routines. The environment made her feel safe and supported, which allowed her to grow so much; not just academically, but emotionally too. We saw lessons she learned at school show up at home every day, which speaks volumes about the impact the teachers had on her. A huge and heartfelt thank you to Ms. Janet, who made our daughter’s first daycare experience so smooth and positive. As first-time daycare parents, we were nervous, but Ms. Janet put us at ease within a week. She helped potty train our daughter earlier than we expected, and was always approachable, communicative, and most importantly clearly cared for her students. I never had to question whether my child was in good hands. We’ll absolutely miss Ms. Janet and this entire school — every teacher we met was kind, well-educated, and genuinely impressive. It’s clear that the staff here are passionate about what they do. We are so grateful for the beautiful experience our daughter had, and we highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing, structured, and peaceful environment for their little one.
Guidepost Montessori has a very zen and inviting vibe. Mr. Tim is amazing with children and all guides here are so warm to kids and adults. We swapped our kid from previous daycare in a hurry and our kid adjusted into Guidepost real quick. We believe that's mainly because the staff is consistently great at what they do. They maintain a well-disciplined classroom environment that fosters learning and development. Guide Janet Myers creates a structured environment in true Montessori essence where toddlers can thrive as independent and responsible being. If you know a toddler, you know that isn't easy. She is passionate and strong leader. We used to have Ms. Sonny who offered a warm comfort for kids. My kid was very attached to her, when she left, her transition to Ms. Zoe was managed really well by guides and staff. The cleanliness standards at Guidepost are excellent. At our previous daycare, my child would fall sick frequently. Since we moved to Guidepost, illnesses have become rare occurrences. This speaks volumes about their hygiene practices and overall facility maintenance. Overall, Guidepost Montessori provides an excellent educational foundation in a clean, disciplined environment with dedicated teachers who support children's development.
Guidepost Montessori Round Rock has been such a special part of our lives. From the very beginning, the staff treated us like family. Mr. Tim greeted us every morning with a cheerful smile that instantly brightened our day—his warmth set the tone for a place filled with kindness and care. Ms. Ana Maria was the kind of teacher every parent hopes for. Sweet, nurturing, and trustworthy, she made us feel completely at ease leaving our 3-year-old in her care. Her big heart and genuine love for her students were evident in everything she did. Ms. Janeé brought so much joy and creativity into the classroom. Her dance parties and crafts were a hit, and the graduation and prom celebrations she planned made our daughter feel truly special and loved. Those moments will stay with us forever. We love every member of the staff here. Their dedication, compassion, and joyful spirit made Guidepost Montessori Round Rock feel like home. This school will always hold a piece of our heart.
