About Guidepost Montessori At Bee Cave
Guidepost Montessori at Bee Cave
Guidepost Montessori at Bee Cave offers a prepared environment specifically designed to foster child-led exploration. The program serves children across three developmental stages: the 'Nido' for infants, a toddler community focused on self-reliance, and the Children's House for preschoolers and kindergartners. Each classroom is intentionally arranged with specialized hands-on materials that encourage long-term concentration and a joy for learning. The school utilizes a mixed-age community model where older children develop leadership skills while younger children are inspired by their peers. The curriculum balances foundational literacy and mathematics with practical life activities, such as preparing snacks and caring for the environment. While the center has experienced recent management transitions, the core classrooms remain dedicated to nurturing the executive functioning and social-emotional intelligence of every student.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
We love this school for our toddler! His teachers have been fantastic, especially Ms Vanessa, Ms Ixel, Ms Christina, and Ms Hina. We are so grateful for the patience, thoughtfulness, and effort they put into caring for our little one. Switching to a Montessori school has been such a benefit for both him and us. It’s not just about using different materials or taking a slower approach, it is about shifting how you and your child interact with one another and the world around you. Fostering our son’s independence and giving him more responsibilities both in the classroom and at home has allowed him to blossom in so many ways. People say toddler parenting is tough, but this school, this approach, and especially these teachers have made it so enjoyable for us.
Ms. Shanise has been amazing. I hate that the new Head of School handled this so unprofessionally. I would no longer recommend this school Ms. Shanise was the glue that held it together for many years. She was the only reason we liked this school. She deserves much better. Guidepost do better.
I couldn't be happier with our experience. The individualized Montessori approach allows my child to explore their interests at their own pace, fostering a genuine love for learning. The teachers are dedicated and nurturing, guiding without imposing, which has built my child's confidence and critical thinking skills. The sense of community is wonderful, with open communication between parents and teachers. My child has formed great friendships and learned essential values like empathy and responsibility. Overall, guidepost @ Beecave provides a nurturing and enriching environment that sets the foundation for a lifetime of learning. I highly recommend it to any parent seeking a holistic education for their child!
We have had a wonderful experience at Guidepost Montessori in Bee Cave and would highly recommend to anyone! Before Guidepost, we had been to 3 other daycares and no other school compares in terms of the quality of the staff, care, education, cleanliness and the happiness of our children. Our two children have attended the Nido (Infant), Toddler and Children's House programs and have absolutely thrived in the Montessori-based curriculum. Ms. Christine, Ms. Ixel, and Ms. Hina have all been wonderful guides for our children in helping them to learn new skills, reach developmental milestones, and provide loving and attentive care. We can't say enough positive things about Guidepost!
We love Guidepost Montessori at Bee Cave! The school does a wonderful job of engaging both the children and the parents. We see the progress our son is making in Ms. Angelica's class, both educationally and socially. The curriculum is very thoughtfully designed and incorporates a lot of outdoor and nature themes. The staff is communicative and friendly. We adore Ms. Angelica and Ms. Madelyn!!! The school has settled into a great rhythm that allows our family to enjoy the school experience with very little stress and a lot of excitement.
