The Apple Blossom Center at Guerrero-Thompson is a newly launched program resulting from a significant $4.85 million investment in community childcare. Specifically designed for three-year-old learners, the program provides instructional support with a mandatory Bilingual or ESL certified staff. With a 1:9 teacher-to-student ratio and two staff members per classroom, the program focuses on building a strong foundation in both English and Spanish through a one-way dual language model. Situated within a LEED Silver-certified facility, the environment prioritizes both student health and sustainability. Children have access to modern STEM makerspaces, a dedicated school garden where they harvest their own vegetables, and state-of-the-art technology. Safety is managed through the Raptor electronic visitor system and campus-wide security protocols.
