Stepping Stone School Parmer Lane

Stepping Stone School XII at Parmer Lane offers an academic-rich environment through its proprietary S.T.R.E.A.M. curriculum, integrating science, technology, arts, and math into daily play. Director Samantha Sanchez leads a team praised by local families for their attentive infant care and engaging preschool activities. The facility features dedicated centers for reading, writing, and computer skills, ensuring a balanced approach to early development. The campus is distinguished by its extensive outdoor space, where heritage oak trees shade multiple playgrounds and a large covered patio. Parents stay connected via the Tadpoles app, receiving frequent photo updates and progress reports. The program also introduces children to American Sign Language and Spanish. Safety is prioritized with coded entry and video monitoring in select rooms, while family-style dining provides nutritious scratch-made meals and snacks throughout the day.

Stepping stone has been wonderful! My oldest son has been attending for the past year, and he is learning so much! His teachers (Sapna and Sydney) are very engaged and share pictures/videos of their activities throughout the day. It was an easy decision to enroll my second son in the infant classroom! Jeanne, Khadijah, and Barbara have been with him for the past 4 months and he has a big smile every day I drop him off! The principal, Jessica, and assistant principal, Samone, have been lovely and helpful!

Our infant son has been attending this Stepping Stone location since the end of my maternity leave 5 months ago. It's clear from his interactions with the caregivers—especially Miss Barbara and Miss Bella—that he feels loved, happy, and safe around them. The front office staff (Jessica and Simone) are also familiar with all the children and families they serve. They always greet us with big smiles and give a friendly sendoff. Simone in particular gave us frequent check-ins during our child's first week of starting daycare that made the transition feel less stressful. The staff have been so helpful with our son's developmental changes, like his transition to eating solid foods. He's been introduced to a variety of food through the lunches and snacks that the school offers. The teachers are always communicative, and we love receiving photos and videos of our little one throughout the work day on the Tadpoles app. The art projects that the teachers do with the babies are so cute, too. As a first-time parent, knowing that everyone at Stepping Stone School is part of our child-rearing village has made me feel more confident in and at ease with being a working mom. I know my baby boy is in excellent hands!

I have transferred my 4 yr old daughter at least 3 times and I am not moving her again until she goes to big girl school! Jessica is the most heart felt, amazing, and really cool director :) My daughter has a free spirit and sometimes doesn't like to be told to sit in one place, yet. Her teachers have found a beautiful way to let her be free and also be disciplined to learn in class! I haven't heard my baby talked this much in a long time, she is learning so much with Miss Sapna! and I am happy to say if she is having a bad day, her teachers always find a way to make her feel better :) 5 stars to Stepping Stone School

We really like the staff and teachers. The principal Jessica and Shannon they both are super nice to talk too.My elder one is in technologist classroom where Ms Divya teaches them. She is taking good care of him and my son is super happy with her. My younger one goes to infant classroom where his teachers ( Ms Jenny and Ms Barbara) are also very caring and attentive. My husband and I are supper happy and satisfied with the school.

Ms. Jeanne and Ms. Laura are amazing with my now 5 month old son! As a first time mom, I had so much anxiety about daycare. But these two teachers really made me feel more confident and comfortable. You can tell they truly care and have been so helpful! My son enjoys his time there. I always look forward to taking home his artwork they do in class and the tadpoles pictures from his school activities. All the other staff has been super friendly too every time I walk through. Ms. Lisa, among many others, who just always greet us with smiles and say hi to my son by name.
