What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
We love Stepping Stone Northcross! One of our favorite things is the small campus size; it truly feels like a close-knit family. The children know each other well, get along beautifully, and there’s a genuine sense of community that the staff intentionally fosters. We really appreciate the balanced approach to learning: a thoughtful curriculum that prepares kids for kindergarten, plenty of class play, and a strong emphasis on social-emotional development. It feels developmentally appropriate and well-rounded. The staff are consistently caring, attentive, and considerate of each child’s individual needs, which means so much to us as parents. We’ve tried a larger campus before, and while it worked for some families, the smaller setting here has been a much better fit for our child. We have been at this campus for about 3 years now. Overall, they are doing an amazing job, and we’re so grateful to be part of this community. Highly recommend.
My daughter has been at this location since February and we absolutely love this location and their teachers! Both Ms. Connie and her dedicated team have shown to be such great care givers. They truly are amazing with the children, the teachers here are so patient and nurturing. As a first time mom I was hesitant to leave my daughter in daycare but Ms. Connie and her team have truly changed my perspective. Recommend this location 10/10!
We’ve had such a great experience at this Stepping Stone and feel incredibly lucky to have found it. The teacher in our child's classroom (Alondra) is kind, attentive, and truly dedicated to the kids' intellectual growth. She makes learning fun every day with thoughtful, age-appropriate activities that keep them engaged. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into her work—not only is she creative but also cleans several times a day. At my child's last daycare, she would come home with stains all over her clothes and the bathwater would be so murky it was appalling. Having a smaller classroom and a dedicated teacher has really helped. A special shoutout to the director, Connie, who is truly the heart of the facility. She is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and approachable. From the first day, she has made us feel welcome and heard. Connie somehow knows every child by name and always takes the time to check in with both parents and kids. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about each family and works hard to make the daycare a safe, nurturing environment. I've even bumped into her at our local HEB while she was buying snacks for the kids and I swear she works over 40 hours a week since she is always there no matter what time I drop off or pick up. We really couldn’t ask for a better place for our child to learn and grow. Highly recommend!
I love this location. My son is in the infant care and loves his teachers. Every morning when I drop him off, Alana his teacher greets him by name and he gives her the biggest smile. Seeing his happiness when I drop him is the best feeling. I know he is happy and well taken care of. When I come to pick up him Yasmin fills me in on his day and he gives her smiles and hugs before we leave as well. The Director, Connie
