Established in 2001, Growing Tree Learning Center offers a nurturing environment focused on social, cognitive, and physical development. Led by Amber Dawkins and Katie Ehrhardt, the program emphasizes child-initiated activities over rote memorization. The curriculum is built around teacher observations and individual child interests, ensuring a meaningful educational experience through a play-based approach. The campus features five dedicated classrooms and a large, tree-shaded outdoor playground equipped with a natural cedar playscape, sand boxes, and balance beams. The center uniquely integrates Spanish immersion through the Mariposas Spanish School, providing a rich linguistic atmosphere for young learners. Using a positive guidance method, educators foster self-regulation and mutual respect, creating a supportive community for children from infancy through pre-kindergarten.
