About The Children's Courtyard on North Mopac Expressway
Children's Courtyard North Mopac Campus
Operating in Austin since 1986, this campus follows a structured 'Learning Pathway' designed to meet individual developmental milestones from 6 weeks to 12 years. Led by Director Sheila Siniard, the program balances academic preparation with active, hands-on learning across two specialized buildings. The facility offers age-specific classrooms where children explore music, art, and STEM concepts in a secure, structured environment. Transparency is a defining feature here, with the SproutAbout app providing parents with live-stream video access and real-time updates on meals and activities. The campus features dedicated labs and expansive outdoor playgrounds to support physical development. This Cognia-accredited center also holds a 4-star Texas Rising Star quality rating, serving families with full-time care and flexible before/after school programs that include homework support.
What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
My baby has been here since he was 6 months now he's almost 2 and i don't see us going anywhere. Ive had a couple concerns but they addressed all of them and made me feel at ease, the teachers are kind and actually care for these kids. Ive seen how a lot of them operate and though they all have different styles they are all very good at what they do. My son is always happy, comfortable, and safe when he is at school. Thats all a mother could ask for. Ms.Sheila is a wonderful director and she is very understanding, polite, and very respectful. I also love their incentives for the kids and parents and seasonal parties they really keep you involved! I love it here!
Our one year old daughter started at Children’s Courtyard about six months ago and she is thriving! The teachers in Infant 1 and Infant 2 are amazing and they treat her as if she is their own. So loving, nurturing, and fun! She comes home every day full of smiles. I also love the app. They log all of her meals, naps, and diaper changes. This was especially key when she was younger and we were closely monitoring her bottles. You can easily communicate with the teachers in the classroom as well as Leadership through the apps messaging feature. They have cameras in all of the classrooms so you can look in whenever you want and they post fun pictures throughout the day. I’m so happy we found Children’s Courtyard and am looking forward to being there for quite some time.
As a first time mom daycare in general can become a stressful experience. Children’s court yard has made the experience smooth and as pleasant as possible. My baby is thriving and growing each day. I also appreciate all of the updates and pictures. The teachers Alexis, Ashley, Sharon, Tonya, and many others have become an important part of my village ❤️
We moved to Texas last year and Children’s Courtyard North Mopac was the first daycare my little one started at. It would be apt to say that our experience has been great so far! The school management have handled our requests, concerns and feedback really well and are very accommodating. My LO looks forward to meet her friends everyday and she loves Miss Sharlene! Miss Sheila, the director of the school is very warm and welcoming and she made our experience very smooth here.
We love this children’s courtyard location! Sheila and team are the only ones I trust with my daughter! My daughter has been going here since she was 6 months old and CCY has put my mind at ease every step of the way. The staff is fantastic and actually care about the kids.
