Founded in 2004, Austin Children’s Montessori is a family-owned center situated on an acre of dense oak tree farmland in South Austin. Led by an AMI-certified director, the program offers a prepared environment that emphasizes social, academic, and emotional growth. The campus serves as a natural retreat where children interact with specialized materials designed to foster independence and curiosity. From infant floor beds that encourage movement to mixed-age classrooms for primary students, the curriculum follows authentic Montessori principles. Students engage in a wide range of subjects including Spanish, American Sign Language, botany, and mathematics. The long-standing faculty and multi-generational leadership provide a stable community environment focused on preparing children for life beyond the classroom.
