Nana's Playhouse Spanish Immersion Center
Founded in 2007, Nana’s Playhouse is a family-owned, Texas Rising Star accredited center in South Austin. The program specializes in Spanish immersion using the Frog Street curriculum, designed to foster cognitive growth, language skills, and creativity. Children engage in dance parties, theme days, and structured play to build fine and gross motor skills. My son was here for 2 years. When we had a 2nd birthday party, the kids from Nana's were easily the most respectful and kind. It was clear that Nana's was a great choice. We moved to Dallas and immediately we felt the changes in the kids around ours. Nana's kept a really good handle on the kids and they always came home happy.
Our daughter is so happy here. She’s picking up Spanish at school while learning English at home. All the staff are loving and attentive really feels like a big family. The schedule is wonderful for working parents, long days for our baby but she’s happy and exhausted by the end of the day, sleeps very well since attending daycare. Nana you da real mvp
My daughter was here for 3 years and now my son for a year and a half. This has been the best place for our family. It is spanish-immersion, and my daughter left speaking well enough to be in a dual-language kinder. Maria has been so kind and flexible with our scheduling needs. I feel my children are comfortable and safe while they are here. Thanks Nana!
So grateful for Nana’s! We have been there since 2021 and have had a great experience. We value the Spanish immersion aspect and find it incredible the amount of Spanish he has learned throughout his time there. They teach all of the skills that they would learn throughout pre-K but most importantly they love the kids and make their time fun! They host special activities and have theme days from time to time. I would highly recommend Nana’s to anyone needing care for their little ones.
Nana and her staff are amazing. They deserve more than 5 stars ⭐️ My babies have been attending Nana's since 2019. Nana and her staff engage with all kids meeting their needs, making sure they are safe and learning while enjoying themselves. They have the coolest dance parties. Something is always going on to keep the kids busy. I love the Spanish Immersion program. With that program, my daughter was able to test and got accepted into dual language program in Kinder.
