About Trinity Child Development Center

Trinity Child Development Center: Windsor Park

Trinity Child Development Center is a community-focused nonprofit that has operated in the Windsor Park neighborhood for over 60 years. The facility is uniquely situated adjacent to the Windsor Park Branch Library and features expansive outdoor space, including a grassy courtyard with mature trees and two age-appropriate playgrounds. As a 4-star Texas Rising Star and NAEYC-accredited program, Trinity operates within the top tier of early childhood centers nationally. The program is led by a dedicated team, including an Executive Director who has been with the center since 2008. Classrooms are organized by color-coded rooms, each maintaining specific teacher-to-student ratios, such as 1:4 for the youngest toddlers. Curriculum is play-based and developmental, incorporating activities like yoga and gardening. The center is a member of the Success by 6 Early Childhood Coalition and prioritizes economic and ethnic diversity within its student body.

I will always be grateful for Trinity CDC. I was a single parent and with the support and assistant with providing the best care for a reasonable price. The teachers and staff are amazing and have always provided unconditional support for parents and our children. Now my grandbabies have also had the privilege to go to an outstanding safe environment to learn and prepare for school.

I'm thrilled to share my exceptional experience with Trinity, a truly outstanding childcare center. As a parent who attended Trinity as a child myself, I was delighted to see my now 16-year-old son thrive under their care. This is a testament to the long-lasting quality and dedication that Trinity embodies. The teachers at Trinity are nothing short of remarkable. They were incredibly attentive to my son's needs, understanding him in a way that only a loving family member could. As a shy child, he often struggled to open up, but the teachers at Trinity made him feel welcome and encouraged him to grow every day. Their ability to bring out the best in him was truly heartwarming. What sets Trinity apart from other daycare centers is the genuine love and care that they provide. The staff are like extended family members - warm, nurturing, and full of knowledge and experience. They've earned the prestigious NAEYC accreditation, which is a badge of honor that less than 12% of Austin facilities have achieved. This speaks volumes about their commitment to delivering top-notch services. But what's even more remarkable is the lasting impact Trinity has on its alumni. Even years after attending, my son and I remain committed to supporting their non-profit mission, which aims to support families from all walks of life. Many fellow alumni continue to give back nearly three decades later, demonstrating the strong bonds formed within the Trinity community. Overall, I highly recommend Trinity to any family seeking a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for their children. They're more than just a daycare - they're a community that will leave a lasting impact on your little ones' lives, and one that will stay with them for years to come.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this daycare! From the moment we joined, we felt like part of the family. The teachers are absolutely fabulous. My little one looks forward to seeing them every day. One of the standout features of this daycare is the Friday yoga for the babies! We get adorable photos sent to our app that prove just how cute this is. The arts and crafts projects are another highlight. My child comes home with the cutest crafts, and I can tell the teachers put so much effort into making these activities fun for the babies. This place is truly a neighborhood gem. We’re beyond grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our daughter.

Our children both went to Trinity and I highly recommend Trinity to anyone in Windsor Park or surrounding area. It is a local gem. Been here for 60 years!! The school has a foundation in the community that you will not get at other daycares and a network of people who support it. The facility is in need of a paint job and refresh, and they are working on that plan now, but I can tell you that my kids (who are at elementary school now) still talk about how much they love Trinity every time we drive by - they LOVED the playground, the garden, the activities, the picnics, going to the library next door, etc. We made great friends there too. My son's best friend from Trinity he met in the pink room at 15 months old remains his best friend, and now his buddy's parents are some of our best friends. This school is a high quality and loving place to send your kids!

My daughter has been going to Trinity for 3 months now and we love it. She has learned so much in these few months, I am constantly amazed. Sharon, the director, is so responsive when I have had questions or concerns. The room teacher for the littlest class always has fun projects for the kids to do. I had no idea that 1 year olds could make a craft. I just love this place!
