Lemon Door Playschool is a boutique, director-owned program in Magnolia Village that centers on the belief that play is a child's most serious work. Influenced by Reggio principles, the environment is designed as a "third teacher," where children lead their own learning through sensory exploration, project-based activities, and social interaction. Every day includes at least two hours of outdoor discovery, regardless of the weather, ensuring children stay connected to nature and active movement. The program prioritizes a high-quality experience with a 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio, significantly lower than the state standard. Beyond the classroom, children enjoy nutritious hot lunches prepared by an onsite chef and participate in enrichment activities like yoga, dance, and music. The mixed-age setting fosters a strong community where social-emotional learning and communication are practiced daily through circle time and guided emotional check-ins.
