What Parents Say
5 reviews from parents
My son recently graduated from the infant class, and our experience so far has been positive. The facility is clean and spacious, and the staff is professional and responsive to any questions. I particularly appreciated the use of the app to track his daily schedule and view photo updates from the teachers. While no daycare can match home environment, the care here is good quality—my son was always happy to see his teachers, especially Ms. Kelly. I would recommend this location to other parents.
Staff is good and try to build connections with kids. Management needs to support staff better. Lots of activities were planned for summer but didn't see many things being done in practice. There are lots of activities on paper but I dont see as much interest and fun for kids. Some improvements could be addition of more fun activities like free flow dance/music time for kids, group play, etc. We had to do multiple followups with management for setting up correct food preferences. Teachers need to be better trained to understand differences in ovo, lacto and vegan food sensitivities. Pantry/kitchen area is in need of better ventilation. Many times we have noticed classrooms are not clean. Management needs to support staff with providing more hands to keep all areas clean. Especially sinks and restroom areas in classes. This place has lots of potential and I hope some of these things gets addressed properly.
We enrolled our premie twins here at 5mo and really enjoyed the care the twins received from Ms. Karima and Ms. Touria. They are incredible caregivers for infants. The way they warmly welcomed the kids each morning and communicated what they observed throughout the day was really helpful and as a new mom. It is clear that they take pride in their jobs and genuinely enjoy caring for children. Huge thank you to both of them and to Jill & Wubit for the time we spent at Ballinger Shoreline Kindercare!
My family and I have been very happy with Ballinger Shoreline KinderCare. Both of my children attend this location. Our son who is in the Pre-K program loves his teacher Miss Sharon. Miss Sharon is superb and beloved by her class. Also she teaches the phonic classes there and my youngest absolutely loves her as well. My youngest is in the Discovery Pre-school and she absolutely loves her teacher Miss Acacia. Miss Acacia is wonderful and so loving and caring with her class. My daughter can't stop talking about her teacher. Additionally, the support staff is very caring and Jill does a great job running the location.
We’ve had our daughter enrolled in the Ballinger Shoreline KinderCare for a little over 6 months. Overall the experience has been great. Jill, the center director, is very responsive and knowledgeable about her center and the staff who provide care. Often Jill is in the hallway greeting kids and parents by name, or she is in the classrooms providing support or coaching for teachers and that goes a long way. I appreciate the open lines of communication I have with the center and staff. The app is great for messaging and daily updates. There have been a few times where I have needed to raise a safety issue or concern and it is addressed immediately. Feeling heard and taken care of goes a long way. The parking lot does get congested at peak times, but it’s not a big lot for the number of families enrolled. Finding and trusting a place to care for our child was not easy but I am thankful we found this KinderCare location.
